![๐๏ธ Parc national de la Jacques-Cartier, Quรฉbec
The adventures across Quรฉbec continue. Last week after visiting la Malbaie I enjoyed a full day at Parc National de la Jacques-Cartier.
This was my first time visiting the park and I absolutely loved it. My excursion was less about hiking and more focused on discovering the beauty and different regions of the park.
Hereโs my itinerary:
โป๏ธSunrise hike at Lโรperon (5.3km loop trail)
โป๏ธBreakfast near the discovery centre looking out at riviรจre de la Jacque-Cartier
โป๏ธLe Draveur Nord (24.8km out-and-back) (note: I didnโt do this full trail, I strolled for perhaps the first kilometre or two while the trail hugged the river. When the trail ventured into the forest I turned back. There are lots of beautiful river-front picnic spots on the trail as well as on the bridge before the start of the trail)
โป๏ธLe confluent (1.2km out-and-back trail)
โป๏ธLunch at le confluent belvedere, on the rocks near the river before the actual trail begins)
โป๏ธPaddle-boarding + swimming (I brought my own SUP and paddled up stream from lโEkwatek carpark [km 25 on the parkway])
